Turkish Fighter Jets Bomb Besieged Kurdish District Nusaybin Claims YPS Militia
Kurdish Question – 12 May 2016 – The Kurdish Civil Protection/Defence Units (YPS) General Command has made a statement about the continuing clashes in the besieged district of Nusaybin in Mardin, Turkey’s Kurdish region.
The statement said that Turkish fighter jets have been used for the first time in Nusaybin in the bombing of the Alika neighbourhood. The aerial strike which was conducted on the evening of May 11 targeted 4 locations. No information was given as to whether there had been any casualties in the aerial attack. www.mesop.de
