Life at the border-crossing of Fish Khabur is normal, and trade and passenger commute continues daily, local officials told Rudaw. People here including the Christian and Yezidi communities want to be left in peace. They are against any military offensive against the spot by Iraqi forces and the Hashd al-Shaabi militia.
