MESOP : Low level Delegation from KRG parliament visits Amed
2015/02/12 – A delegation from the parliament of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) visited Amed. They were welcomed by the town’s co-mayor. Later, they met with the members of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) party.Head of the delegation Sala Mahmud announced that the KRG deemed it necessary to strengthen ties with Turkey, especially with Kurdish blocs. On the other side, Amed co-mayor Gultan Kisanak showed her happiness over the visit and stressed that such steps were important for democracy. The delegation also visited the DTK party and met with the co-leaders Khateb Dijla and Salma Irmak.
