MESOP FLASH : Kurds fight with ISIS – ISIS Kurdish group arrested in Erbil
8-3-2014 – MESOP – A Kurdish group belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) were captured and arrested in Erbil by the Assayish, the Kurdish security forces.
the group came from Kirkuk with the intent to carry out suicide bombings in different parts of Erbil, BasNews quoted a source on the condition of anonymity. The group was caught and arrested by the Assayish before they could carry out any actions. It is reported that the General Security of Erbil will hold a press conference soon to provide further information and clarification on the group and how they were arrested.
