MESOP ELECTION RESULTS IRAQ : Iraqi NGO releases preliminary results for Iraqi election
2-5-2014 – MESOP – In a press conference in Baghdad, Ain (Eye) Network Iraq released this preliminary result of the parliamentary election. Ain had their representatives in most of the polling stations across Iraq.
In Erbil: Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) gained 45% of votes.
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) gained 20% of votes.
Gorran (Change Movement) gained 18% of votes.
Kurdistan Islamic Group (Komal) gained 8% of votes.
Kurdistan Islamic Union (Yekgirtu) gained 5% of votes.
In Suleimaniyah:
Gorran gained 49% of votes.
PUK gained 30% of votes.
Other parties gained 20% of votes.
In Kirkuk:
PUK gained 42% of votes.
Al-Arabiya gained 15% of votes.
KDP gained 6% of votes.
The National Coalition gained 8% of votes.
Turkmen Front gained 12% of votes.
Other parties gained 7% of votes.
In Duhok:
KDP gained 70% of votes.
Yekgirtu gained 15% of votes.
PUK gained 8% of votes.
Other parties gained 7% of votes.
