KURDS WANT TO REPLACE IRANIAN REGIME / SUPPORTING PMOI/MEK

Ncr-iran.org – 7.1.2013 – The Organization of Iranian Kurdistan Struggle (Khebat), in its 5th annual congress, supported the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and described it as a national force that is qualified to replace the mullahs’ regime in Iran, according to a publication linked to the Kurdish group.

Rudaw weekly of Southern Kurdistan (Iraq’s north), quoted Behruz Ardalan, head of Kurdistan relations of Khebat, as saying: “PMOI is a national force recognized in Iran and abroad.” Ardalan emphasized: “The Organization of Iranian Kurdistan Struggle (Khebat) considers the PMOI as the most qualified current for replacing the Islamic Republic of Iran.” He said: “We believe there is no qualified force on the scene other than the PMOI and they are the only qualified force to be considered as the alternative.”

The Khebat official added: “In the 1970’s, when the Shah of Iran started the suppression of the Kurds, the PMOI was the first Persian speaking force that stood up against it.”
