Kurdish MB Meets With PYD

Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Mohammed Faraj , morning Saturday, 08/31/2013, in the presence of a member of the political bureau of the Islamic Union Maulud Bawa Murad, the leadership member Khalil Ibrahim, and relations office official in the Union Omar Ismail, received a delegation of (PYD) annexation of both the President of the National Movement Alar Khalil, and members of the leadership of the movement Fawza and Jaafar, in his own headquarters in Erbil.

The two sides discussed during the meeting, which lasted about an hour the latest developments on the Syrian political arena and the west of Kurdistan, and the attempts by some parties to take control of some areas and impose its hegemony, stressing the approaching end of the Assad regime, particularly after the use of chemical weapons. For his part, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union expressed his party’s readiness to support the demands of the Kurdish people in Western Kurdistan.

Earlier before Ali Qaradaghi, who holds the number two position in the World Union of Muslim Scholars, told Rudaw that “We have condemned the oppression and injustice exercised against the Kurds in Syria”.  – Posted
