KNC Meets With Syrian Opposition Head
Yekiti media confirms through Ibrahim Berro that the KNC met with Ahmad Jarba, the new president of the Syrian National Coalition to discuss the Kurdish issue. The Yekiti member says they had several meetings with the SNC and asked from them a clear position on the Kurdish issue. Allegedly Jarba recognized the rights of Kurds to have federalism and a guarantee that the states safeguards the rights of all the components of the Syrian people. Jarba is one of the Arab tribal leaders of the big Shammar tribe, one of the founders of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and close to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
