ISIS attacks YPG positions in Til Marûf
ANF – QAMISHLO 27.02.2014 – The Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) and groups affiliated to it have launched an attack targeting the People’s Protection Units (YPG) positions in the Til Marûf village of West Kurdistan’s Qamishlo province early Thursday morning. Clashes in the area are reported to be continuing.
The attack came after the General Command of the YPG announced in a written statement on Wednesday that they have suspended all military actions and operations in the Cizîre, Kobani and Efrin cantons as well as in the Kurdish-inhabited Aleppo and Rakka cities.
