HPG (PKK) STATEMENTS ON RECENT MILITARY ACTIVITIES (KCK INFO)
TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – ARTILLARY ATTACK ON THE REGION OF ZAP
On 1 March in between 07:00-11:00 hours, the occupier Turkish state army carried out artillery attacks on the Village of Zere and the Hill of Xeregol, in the Region of Zap/the Media Defense Areas.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC : AN ACTION AGAINST THE OPERATIONAL FORCES IN MARDIN
The occupier Turkish state army launched a military operation in the areas of Sederi, Xirba Miska and Badibe, in the district of Midyat/Mardin, on 1 March. Our guerrillas have taken the operational military forces under the control and began followed them up. At 12:00 hour, our guerrilla forces carried out an action against the operational forces of the occupier Turkish state army. As a result, 1 Panzer and 1 vehicle have been damaged, yet number of killed and wounded soldiers couldn’t be clarified.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC : RETALIATION ACTION FROM OUR GUERRILLAS AGAINST THE MILITARY OPERATIONS IN MARDIN
1- The occupier Turkish state army have been carrying out military operations in terms of ambushes in the surrounding areas of the Villages of Xirbeka and Deceme, in the district of Nusaybin and; the Village of Yaske, in the district of Omerli/Mardin, since 1 March.
2- On 5 March at 1:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the security cabins of the Xirbe Baba military station in the district of Nusaybin/ Mardin. The targets aimed by our guerrillas have been effectively hit. Yet, number of killed or wounded soldiers couldn’t be able to clarify.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – 7 SOLDIERS KILLED AFTER RETALIATION ACTION
1- On 4 March at 20:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against a military convoy near by the district of Lice/Amed, in retaliation to the air-bombardments carried out by the occupier Turkish state army on 27 February on the Medya Defense Areas, where it resulted 4 of our comrades to be martyred.
As a result of retaliation action, 1 military armored vehicle has been destroyed, 7 soldiers killed and 4 others wounded. The occupier Turkish state army closed the road for the traffic and are preparing for a military operation in the districts of Hani and Lice.
2- The occupier Turkish state army have been carrying out artillery attacks on the areas of Kani Cennete, the Villages of Sifreza and Little Cilo, within the borders of the Region of Zap/the Medya Defense Areas, since 4 March.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – 4 SOLDIERS KILLED IN A CLASH IN GABAR
1- On 6 March, the soldiers of the occupier Turkish state army launched a military operation in terms of ambushes in and surrounding area of the Village of Bilika/Mountain Cudi.
2- On 7 March in between 10:00-11:00 hours, the cobra type helicopters belong to the occupier Turkish state army carried out bombardments on the areas of Geliye Faqira, and Sehit Mazlum which is on the border area, in the district of Cukurca/Hakkari. The cobra helicopters also attempted to cross the border, yet have been pulled back after retaliation by our guerrilla forces.
3- On 7 March at around 12:30 hour, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the operational forces of the occupier Turkish state army, in the area of Ciyaye Bizina, in the Mountain Gabar. As a result of these clashes, 4 enemy soldiers killed. While the enemy forces carried away their killed and wounded soldiers with Sikorski type helicopters, the area of clashes have been intensively bombarded with artillery fire.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – MILITARY OPERATION IN MARDIN
On 5 March, the occupier Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Bajaroka Heyina and; the Villages of Ahmediye, Bengiza, Deris, Gozerin, in the district of Savur/Mardin. While the enemy soldiers made a search in the Villages, intensively made oppression on the Villagers. On 8 March, the occupier Turkish army pulled back most of its operational forces, yet the hidden enemy units are continuing for ambush and searches in the area.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – THE STATEMENT IN REGARDING TO THE PRISONERS
As an HPG, we will free total of 8 prisoners in our hands after our Leader’s wish and demand of the KCK Executive Council’s, through a delegation, which is capable of representing the conscience of the society and who will take the prisoners to their families with good health.
The name of all the 8 prisoner’s name are as follow;
Zihni Koc, Abdullah Sopceler, Kemal Ekinci, Nadir Ozgen, Kenan Erenoglu, Resat Cacan, Ramazan Basaran and Hadi Gizli.
On this matter, we would like all our people and democratic public to be aware on this development.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – AN ACTION IN AMED
On 8 March, our guerrillas carried out an action against the two military positions securing the Hegesor military station, in the district of Hani/Amed. This action has been carried out in retaliation against the continuing military operations by the occupier Turkish state army. As a result of this retaliation action, targeted military positions have been effectively hit by our guerrilla, yet the number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers could not be able to clarify.
