KCK PRESIDENCY OF EXECUTIVE COUNCIL – 18.01.2013 – TO PRESS AND PUBLIC OPINION

At a period which our region, The Middle East is going through significant developments, Kurdish people`s freedom cause face multi-faceted attacks as well.The colonialism in Kurdistan in cooperation with international connections which led to international terrorist attack on the three leading female militant in Paris caused deep sorrow within the people of Kurdistan and has been thought-provoking.

While the people of Kurdistan accounting the current killings, coward attacks in Kirkuk and Tuzxurmatu in South Kurdistan reveal the diameter of hostile attacks against the people of Kurdistan. The losses in these brutal attacks have led to a deep pain in both us and our people. Attacks taken place especially in the areas where the KDP Institutions in Kirkuk and the PUK Office in Tuyxurmatu were, resulted in heavy casualties and many losses. As a result of attacks a total of over 20 killed and nearly 200 injured shows how comprehensive and despicable the attacks are. We strongly condemn the attacks against our people and its political forces and emphasize that we are with the just struggle of the people of South Kurdistan. We extend our condolences to the families of victims, KDP and PUK leaderships and their members as well as to all people of Kurdistan and we wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Today, these brutal attacks carried out against our people in South, North and West Kurdistan and our losses; impose the essential national-democratic unity. We can only keep alive the memory of our martyrs by achieving success in our people`s freedom cause with the spirit of the national unity. This task is a fundamental task for all of us. We believe that the terrorist attacks of colonialism, with strong solidarity of our people will not be realized. We urge all patriotic forces to show even more powerful solidarity and unity. 17/01/2013

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – A BRAVE RESISTANCE IN MARDIN, A COMPREHENSIVE ATTACK ON THE MEDYA DEFENCE AREAS

1- On 13 January at 14:00 hour, a clash has been occurred in between our comrade Akif, who was there for a duty, and the special operational forces belong to the occupier Turkish state army in the district of Nusaybin/Mardin. Our comrade Akif have reached to martyr a result of 45 minutes of clash with enemy, where he detonated his hand grenade with himself for not to be captured alive by enemy, after he did not any bullet left.

2- On 14 January in between 23:00-24:00 hours, the war-planes belong to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air bombardments on the surrounding area of Villages of Zergele and Enze/Kandil/the Medya Defense Areas.

3- On 14 January in between 16:30-17:00 hours, the war-planes belong to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the Valleys of the Rivers of the Avasin and Basya/Zagros/The Medya Defense Areas.

4- On 14 January in between 16:30-17:00 hours, the war-planes belong to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the Villages of Serane and Zewke/Gare/The Medya Defense Areas.

5- On 14 January in between 16:00-17:00 and 23:00-24:00 hours, the war-planes belong to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the Village of Sida and its surrounding area/Zap/The Medya Defense Areas.

TO OUR PEOPLE AND PUBLIC – WE WILL OWE OUR 7 BRAVE HEROES WITH THE SPIRUTURE OF MAGNIFICENT RESISTANCE

It has been clarified that the increasing intensive attacks against our Freedom Movement and its Defense Force, the HPG, shows that the concept of the denial and annihilation will be continuing with hypocrisy and new methods. While the Turkish army and its government planning to increase its occupation in Kurdistan, in 2013, are continuing to thing that will get a result by intensifying its air-bombardments, it’s hypocritical talks on peace and trying to get result through false reports and propagandas from special warfare media after its loss against our guerrillas in 2012. These most intensive attacks are occurring as a result of this.

It is clear and understandable that an army, which has been squashed under the operations of our Guerrilla strategy and tactics and cannot digest the march of our people’s resistance to victory, will use the heavy weather conditions to intensify its air attacks by relaying on intensive modern technics. It has to be known that as a HPG, we will not be silent to these attacks. On 14 January, 2013, as a result of intensive air-bombardments on the Medya Defense Areas, 3 of our friends have been heavily wounded and later have been reached to martyr, despite all efforts given for their survival. As a result of these air-attacks, total of 7 Freedom Fighters of our comrades have been martyred. We will be publishing the I.D. details of our martyred comrades to our people and the public tomorrow. These attacks will obstinate the continuing resistance and march of our Guerrilla Forces for definite victory.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – OUR 7 COMRADES WHO PARTICIPATE THE CARAVAN OF MARTRYS

1- On 15 January in between 22:00-23:00 hours, the war-planes of the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the Village of Sile/Kandil/the Medya Defense Areas. As a result, 6 civilian houses in the village have been bombarded and damaged. There are no civilian casualties.

2- On 14 January, as a result of intensive air-bombardments 7 of our Freedom Fighter comrades have been martyred.
