14-4-2014 – Salih Muslim meets Jalal Talabani’s wife The co-leader of Syrian pro-Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) met yesterday Hiru Ibrahim Ahmad, wife to Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, Hawar News said.

Salah Muslim stressed in the meeting in Sulaymaniya on the support of Iraqi Kurds to the Syrian Kurds and their struggle in the northern regions of Syria. “South of Kurdistan (Iraqi Kurdistan Region) is our land and we are here to visit our friends. We will go anywhere that will help our struggle. In our meeting with Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (led by Talabani) I asked them to help us with their international experience. And we also expect them to help us in ever regard,” Muslim said about the briefing. He further added he had not discussed with Ibrahim Ahmad the region’s digging of a ditch on border with Syria Kurdish regions but is sure that PUK and main opposition Change Movement are against the ditch and know it is against the benefits of the Kurds.
