FLASH : KDP denies contracting with Turkey on attacking PKK

8.8.2012 – Spokesman of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) denies Hawlati’s claim about the party’s involvement in a contract with Turkish government to attack PKK. Jafar Ebrahim, KDP’s official spokesman told Peyamner news agency that KDP’s political strategy regards to the legal and political problems other Kurdish regions have within their government is pro-dialogue and they defend peaceful solution

Earlier Hawlati claimed that KDP engaged in an agreement with Turkish government to hit PKK rebels, a charge that has been denied by Ebrahim. The blame came after the Turkey’s Foreign Minister Davodoglu’s meeting with Masoud Barzani president of Kurdistan, earlier this month.
