FIRST PKK GUERILLA MEMBERS LEAVE TURKEY

Kurdpress 26.3.2013 – Turkey- A group of 100 Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members have quit Turkey rural Hakkari and Sirnak districts and passed into Kurdistan Region, Milliyet and Aksham daily said in reports. The PKK militants crossed into the party’s camps at Zap and Khwakur near Turkey border. Turkey fighter jets have, for a long time, flown over Turkey and Kurdistan Region border to surveillance the withdrawal.

The PKK members located in higher altitudes with severe winter conditions will gradually withdraw toward summer to camps in the region of Kurdistan, north of Iraq, World Bulletin said, adding that it has been learned that the PKK militants will also head to the Qamishlo region in Syria.
