DEMIRTAS BDP : Even one attack will end peace talks

Hakkari-  KURD PRESS / MESOP 7.5.2013 – The Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co- chair Selahattin Demirtas said even a Turkey army attack against Kurdistan workers’ Party (PKK) militants will make the peace talks come to an end, Dogan news agency said.

Addressing his party’s supporters’ in Cukorca, a city in Hakkari province, Demirtas said the precious opening has to be kept whatever possible, asking people to lay down in front of any Turkey army vehicles that head to conduct military operations. “Racial ideologies made Kurds take arms”.  Demirtas further blamed racial ideologies of two opposition parties of the country and said it was those ways of thinking that made Kurds to take up arms against the central government. “Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu and National Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahceli behave as two jovial tourists who are not responsible about the state’s security and peace,” Demirtas said, adding that they were the ideologies of the two parties that deepened the Kurdish conflict in Turkey.
