DDKD ? / Turkey Kurds to establish new party of a “revolutionary” Imam

16-12-2013 – MESOP – A new party is due to be formed in Turkey Kurdish regions and Kurdish politician and the leader of Democratic and Revolutionary Kurds’ Society will lead the party, Russia Voice Radio said in a report.

The society is due to keep its name but change its structure to a party under the leadership of its head Imam Tasci Ar. Speaking with the radio, Tasci Ar said there are more than 20 million Kurds in Turkey and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) enjoys the support of at most 5 million Kurds, and therefore big steps can be taken in the regions.  He added his party will try to establish a Kurdish government and make it possible to Turkey Kurds to control their regions and conduct their affairs.
