Day of Kurdish National Congress set : 20 – 30th August
The day for the meeting between Kurdish political parties and groups from Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria was set but it was not revealed.Speaking with Hawali Nawkhu, the member of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Saadi Ahmad Pira, said the day has been set to make the meeting’s working plan. Six to seven committees have been formed for political, economic and art activities.
Meanwhile Turkey’s Hurriyet daily reported the congress is likely to take place between August 20 and 30. Quoting a lawmaker from pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP), Husamettin Zenderlioglu, the daily said the conference will most likely take place between August 20 and 30. He added 500 delegates would attend the conference in the northern Iraqi city of Erbil.
