Community Dialogue: No to FGM
27. Januar 2014 – Currently WADI is conducting a couple of community dialogues about Female Genital Mutilation in Kurdistan. This project is supported and funded by UNICEF.Yesterday in Bastora in Arbil Governorate a lot of the participating women for the first time had the chance to learn about the new law against domestic violence and the negative effects of FGM.
In the end of the session they were asked to raise their hands if they believe one should stop with FGM.
