Ferhad Ehmê via Jomana Djoumma – 15-5-2014 – Die Vorwürfe über gravierende Menschenrechtsverletzungen an die PYD mehren sich. So soll Hanan Hemdush aus Efrin bis zum Tode gefoltert worden sein, nachdem er am 03.05.14 von der bewaffneten Kräfte der PYD auf dem Markt der Stadt Efrin festgenommen worden war. Nur ein Tag später wurde seine Leich an seiner Familie übergeben. Begründung der Falls durch die PYD: Selbstmord. Das ist der zweite Fall der bekannt wird. Vor mehreren Wochen starb auch in Serêkaniyê (Ras Alain) ein Mann kurze Zeit nach seine Festnahme durch die PYD unter Folter. Die PYD begründete den Todesfall damals mit einer These, die den Menschen in Syrien aus der Zeit des Regime bekannt wurde: Herzinfarkt.
