Syrian Observatory for Human Rights : Aleppo Province: several mortar shells fell onto the two neighborhoods of al Hamasaneyyi and Jam’eyyat al Zahraa and near al Nile Street with no information about casualties.The clashes between IS and YPG in the eastern countryside of Ayn al Arab had stopped IS dragged a lot of fighters to Mabrke front on the administrative boundaries with the province of al Raqqa. The aircrafts strafed areas in the towns of Anadan, Hraytan and Kafar Hamra in the northern countryside and the towns of Qebtan al Jabal and Hur in the western countryside.

22-9-2014 – ARA News – Kobane, Syria – Unidentified warplanes bombed on Sunday the bridge of Qara Qozak on the Euphrates River, nearly 30 km south of Kobane (Ain al-Arab) in Aleppo province, northern Syria, undisclosed sources told ARA News.The sources pointed out that aerial bombardment destroyed large parts of the bridge which is linking Kobane with the interior of Syria.In a related development, artillery shells and tanks of the Islamic State (IS/ISIS), an al-Qaeda offshoot, hit the center the city of Kobane, where three shells fell on the neighbourhood of Kanya Araban adjacent to the city, on Sunday morning.

22-9-2014 – Mehrere Nachrichtenagenturen des Mittleren Ostens melden, der Islamische Staat (IS / ISIS) hat die armenische Gedächtniskirche in Der Zor zerstört.
Die Meldungen wurden publiziert, als Armenien dabei war, den 23. Jahrestag seiner Unabhängigkeit zu feiern. Armeniens Außernminister Eduard Nalbandian verurteilte die Zerstörung der Kirche, die den vor 98 Jahren hier internierten Opfern des Genozids durch die Osmanischen Türken gewidmet war. Nalbandian sprach von einem Akt “grausamer Barbarei”. Gleichzeitig rief er die internationale Gemeinschaft dazu auf, dem Islamischen Staat seine Finanz- und Lieferungs- und Unterstützerquellen zu kappen sowie die die “zivilisierte Menschheit bedrohende” Ideologie, auf die er sich beruft zu bekämpfen.
