BIRYAR GABAR : Senior official leaves PKK
Bestun Kakayi – BasNews (Erbil): 23—12-2013 – A senior official of the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) leadership council Biryar Gabar has split from the party and left Qandil for an unknown location. “Gabar has escaped Qandil,” PKK spokesman Hiwa Zagros told BasNews.
Gabar left the PKK headquarters in Iraqi Kurdistan two months ago, leaving no information regarding his whereabouts. Gabar played an important role in forming the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK), a Kurdish military group hostile to the Iranian regime and known to have close ties to the PKK.
