BDP leader warns of Turkey’s division

5.9.2013 – Kurdpress – I firmly warn Turkey government that the state will divide if no concrete step will be taken in ending the country’s Kurdish conflict, the co- leader of pro- Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Gultan Kisanak was quoted by Taraf daily as saying.

Two years is passing since the beginning of Arab Spring and Turkey Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is still ignoring the conflict and behaves as if nothing is threatening Turkey, Kisanak told a crowd of BDP supporters in southeastern province of Diyarbakir. She further lashed out at Ankara government for “killing time” in its peace talks with Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) to end the decades- long conflict which has cost more than 45000 lines. Kisanak called Diyarbakir the capital of peace and stated the Kurds in Diyarbakir and all other Kurdish provinces will rush into streets if Erdogan takes no step in the talks.
