APO’S message will be read in Kurdish & Turkish: BDP
ANKARA – Hürriyet Daily News – 20.3.2013 – The message sent by the jailed leader of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Abdullah Öcalan, regarding the ongoing peace process and the possible disarmament of the outlawed group, will be read out loud in Turkish and Kurdish languages to public in Diyarbakır tomorrow during the Nevruz celebrations.
“We will receive the message from the intelligence agency today and it will be read by two lawmakers in Turkish and Kurdish,” Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş said today, according to daily Hürriyet. Diyarbakır is getting ready for a historic meeting tomorrow as thousands are expected to celebrate Nevruz, in a meeting which will be a milestone in the ongoing peace process as Öcalan is expected to deliver a road map.
