Al-Nusra gangs kidnapped 350 civilians in Reqa
29 August 2013 hawarnews – REQA – Local sources report that during the clashes in Reqa, ten gangs of al Nusra were killed and four fighters of El-Ekrad lost their lives. Number of the Kurdish civilians who are kidnapped by al-Qaeda linked groups reached 350.
It is said that El-Ekrad fighters did not allow the gangs enter the neighborhoods of Reqa and serious clashes broke out after the gangs attack especially in Methenbê with bombs. There is silence now in Reqa while the areas around still encounters with attacks. Local reporters say that al Nusra gangs surround the Kurds’ neighborhoods, torture the civilians and force them to leave the town.
