MESOP FLASH : Bodies of Syria Kurdish forces buried
12-4-2014 – Kurdpress – In a funeral ceremony in the Syrian Kurdish city of Kobani the body of six Kurdish forces of the People Defense Units (YPG) were buried.
The YPG members had been killed in clashes with the extremist forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS), Hawar news said in a report. Addressing the ceremony Akram Hasu, the Cezire Canton PM, said the Kurdish forces are the protectors of the Kurdish struggle and the Kurds will never forget their efforts. A number of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) officials addressed the ceremony and lashed out at the Iraqi Kurdistan Region for ditching on its border with Syria Kurdish region. The Syrian Kurds believe the ditch is an attempt against their struggle.
