Issues within political union

Monday, 31 March 2014 15:28 hawarnews E-mail Print PDF – KOBANÊ- Executive Council of Kurdistan Union Party (Partiya Yekîtî ya Kurdistanê or PYK) withdrew from “Political Union” and declared that it is going to join the YPG’s call for mobilization. The PYK executives remarked that the Political Union members are indifferent to the issues in Rojava and called on all parties and individuals in Rojava and Kurdistan to support the YPG Forces in defending Rojava against the ISIS attacks.
The council organized a press meeting in Kobanê and stated that “Because of the attacks on Kobanê, people living there have encountered very difficult problems. We see that Political Union does not do anything against the attacks of al-Qaeda affiliated “terrorist” organization ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Sham). We decided to join the YPG to defend our sisters and brothers, regions and rights. We are ready to work for our people’s benefits and freedom. It is time now for everybody and every party to defend Rojava.”
