MESOP MIDEAST WATCH: KURDISTAN-SYRIA-Mass demonstration in Kobane against attacks and betrayal

Thousands of people to the streets of Kobane city today in condemnation of the Turkish attack that targeted a civilian house pledging to proceed  the march of martyrs. ANASAFYA 26 Dec 2021

Yesterday a drone OF THRE Turkish occupation army struck a civilian house in the Martyr Peyman Quarter in eastern Kobane that led to two martyrs and seven injuries.

The attack received wide range discontent and condemnation in whole NES. Today people in the city of Kobane in masses took to the street condemning the attack.

As the demonstrators reached the place which was targeted a minute of silence was observed in deference to martyrs followed by a speech delivered by Syrian Youth Revolutionary Movement and another by Co-chair of the Sport and Youth’s Body Khonav Khelil that condemned the attacks that was carried out by a drone   .

Khonav said ”these attacks will never subvert the will of people of the region and the Youths rather they will consolidate the spirit to continue the march undertaken by martyrs to get more intensified”.

Khonav denounced as well the betrayal by the Kurdistan Democratic Party and its dependency to the Turkish occupation state ” youths are going to face traitors and will terminate them”, she said.

Khonav at the end called on all people of the region to stand up to Turkish attacks ” youths are the core of society for this they are targeted”.
