6-11-2021 – Mahmut Reş, known for his closeness to Iranian intelligence, and has also close relationship with Cemil Bayık, was appointed in place of Ferhat Abdi Sahin (Mazlum Abdi) as head of the PKKs Syrian operation.
It’s taken the PKK nearly a year to make this decision.
