Qamishlo people call on PDK to sustain from pro-Turkey position

Thousands of the people in the city of Qamishlo took to the streets in a mass demonstration calling on Kurdistan Democratic Party to refrain from pro-Turkey policies that discharge into aiding Turkish occupation forces and stirs dispute between Kurds.

NEWS 08 Jun 2021, Tue – 13:24 2021-06-08T13:24:00 QAMISHLO – this demonstration comes in condemnation of the unremitting Turkish aggression on Medya Self Defence Zones specifically Metina, Avashin and Zap regions, that aim to occupy Kurdistan and annihilate the Kurdish people everywhere, as Iraqi government is shy towards Turkish onslaught as it tries to use the Peshmergha forces as an instrument to fight the Guerrilla Forces  after all attempts by the Turkish occupation to penetrate into steep areas fell to the ground amid the fierce resistance put up by the guerrilla fighters.

The demonstration was organized by the Kongra Star Coordination and Union Democratic Party called for terminating isolation imposed on leader Ocalan stopped at the he United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR, in city center and observed a minute of silence then a speech was delivered by Co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Perwin Mohamed on behalf of the Kongra Star that said ”this time it is via traitors that they want to stab in the back, the Peshmergha is a force to give protection to Southern Kurdistan but we see it now it become a force that protects Turkey the ancient enemy of the Kurds, this is a disgrace for a Kurd to attack a Kurd”.

Perwin said that Turkey is passing through an unbounded quagmire due to the intrepid resistance performed by the Guerrilla forces as Turkish occupation forces incur blows on daily bases ” Turkey tries via the PDK to dismember Southern Kurdistan but we will stad up to that”.

Perwin concluded via saying that the silence preserve by the international community corroborates complicity in attacks carried out on Southern Kurdistan and a plot to ”annihilate the Kurds that do not subjugate or subvert to occupiers”.
