WILL PYD TALK WITH ASSAD ON PUTIN’S ORDER ?

Different reports on Kurdish parties meeting Damascus government representatives

MESOP 13.7.2013 – Diverse reports have been released about a meeting between the representatives of Syria Kurdish parties and Damascus government officials.

Speaking with Kurdpress on Friday the member of Syria Kurds Patriotic Council Committee, Faisal Yusuf, however denied any meeting between Syria Kurds and representatives of President Bashar al- Assad. “I clearly state we have had no meeting with Assad possible representatives and we are not following any such plans. We see ourselves as a supporter of the Syria oppositions and do not have any plans to meet Assad representatives,” he said.

But it’s possible that other groups would follow such plans, he further answered the question if other lines have met any such delegation. Yusuf remarks made days after the West People Front (close to Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)) leading official Abdulsalam Ahmad told Rudaw website that they have not met any Assad delegation to discuss the Syria situation but said they are ready to talk to the president’s representatives if the situation will be suitable.
