US Wants Kurds to attend in Geneva meeting under Syria opposition council: official tells Kurdpress
Kurdpress – 10.10.2013 – The US officials want the Syrian Kurds to attend in the upcoming Geneva two meeting along with Syria opposition council not as an independent line, a member of Syria Kurds National Council (KNC) told Kurdpress.
They want the Kurds to join the opposition group in the Geneva meeting, Elham Ahmad said about the six-member delegation of the Kurdish body’s meeting with US officials in Turkey on Tuesday. She said the Kurdish delegation had also met two delegations from Germany and European Union ahead of their meeting with the US officials. She further went on to say that the delegations will probably meet Turkey diplomats today.
