(Iraqi TV / KT) 20.3.2014 – Hussein Shahrstani, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, has stated that Baghdad has proposed a new initiative to the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to solve the dispute over oil revenue. Shahrstani said that the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, together with the KRG’s Natural Resources ministry, can install a new system to monitor the amount of oil products each field has on a daily basis. He added that Iraqi Government will monitor the borders through a satellite monitoring system to track the exports by oil tankers to neighboring countries. (Iraqi TV)
