SOUTH KURDISTAN (IRAQ) MESOP : FAKE STORY ? – Peshmerga official denies Turkish troops entered Kurdistan Region
The Secretary General of the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga, Jabar Yawar, denied to Kurdpress that Turkish soldiers entered Kurdistan Region to pursue the fighters of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). Yawar stated that the report was released in one of Turkey media outlets and no official organization in the country has approved it.
He said that no Peshmerga source or official has approved the report, adding that Peshmerga military sources and border guard forces have not approved that Turkish forces entered Kurdistan Region.
