PYD Meets With Christian Party
PYD Info 23 hours ago In a meeting held by representatives from the PYD and the Syriac Union party, together with TEV DEM spokesperson Aldar Xelil, a new strategy for cooperation was established.
During the meeting the latest developments in Syria were discussed, especially the more sectarian character of the conflict. The participants of the meeting stressed the need for maintaining the ancient fraternity of the different ethnic and religious components of western Kurdistan (northern Syria) and to work for unification. PYD spokesperson Firosha Resol pointed out that the Syriac people and the Kurdish people are both part of the Syrian revolution, and that their main aim is to establish a democratic, pluralistic Syria.
