‘PUK interferes in Kawa Germyani’s court case’

3-4-2014 – Kurdistan Tribune – The PUK has been accused of interfering in the Kawa Germyani murder case. The murderer of the anti-corruption journalist had already made a confession but now he has allegedly been instructed to say that he did not do it. Apparently the judge who is investigating the case gave these instructions to the murderer so that he could be freed from prison. Kawa’s brother, Karwan Ahmed, has issued a statement refusing to accept the current judge and calling for his replacement. Karwan also asked people to join him in a protest in front of Kalar court on 6th April.
