KNK visits YNK in Sulaimania

Monday, 19 August 2013 –  hawarnews – SULAIMANA– Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) council visited politic school of Unity of Kurdistan Patriots (YNK) and negotiated the problems about border gate and the Kurdish National Congress that will be held next month. A group of politicians of KNK led by co-chair Tahir Kemalizade is welcome by General Secretary of YNK Mel.

Kemalizade stated that the Kurds especially in Rojava (West of Kurdistan) experience very important days and need to be supported. Kurds in Rojava are creating a national revolution and show great resistance against attacks while the ones in North of Kurdistan try to create a democratic society.

Co-chair of KNK Tahir Kemalizade drew attention to the border gate Sêmalka and told “Closing the gate is not a solution because Rojava needs more help than it needed before. We have to find a way making it possible to help people in Rojava. The National Congress will be held soon, every part should be objective so that a true representation can be made under the congress’s umbrella.”

General Secretary of YNK Mela Bextiyar stated that every part of Kurdistan is experiencing sensitive times and we also see that democratic developments emerging all over Kurdistan are advantage for Kurds. Because democratic ways are working right now, Kurds are able to organize their own national congress by attendance from all parts of Kurdistan.” At the end of the meeting, Mela Baxtiyar talked about the importance of Rojava’s resistance and Kurds’ attempts in North of Kurdistan to find a democratic solution.
