New PKK strategies announced

MESOP 18.7.2013 – After big changes in Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK), an umbrella organization of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), the PKK new strategies announced in 10 articles, Firat news agency said. According to the PKK- affiliated news agency the articles are as follow:

1. Policies announced by Abdullah Ocalan, (PKK) jailed leader, is confirmed.

2. The Executive Council accepts PKK ceasefire with Turkey and leaving the country’s soil.

3. The members of the military forces should stay committed to the ceasefire agreement until a new decision is announced.

4. All political capacities should be applied to increase pressure on ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).

5. All organization and party capabilities should be applied to activate rallies and protests.

6. The military branch should be ready to counter any possible attack.

7. Abdullah Ocalan decisions will be followed in case of any AKP government wasting time or attempting to seize the peace talks.

8. A third line is followed is Syria and a temporary election will be held to form local Parliament and organizations.

9. All attempts should be put into winning the Kurdistan Region upcoming elections.

10. The ceasefire between Iran and PJAK (the party of Free Life of Kurdistan) should be preserved and the PJAK forces should be ready to counter any Iran possible attacks.
