MESOPOTAMIA NEWS UPDATE RAQQA – SYRIA – KURDISTAN – Attacks in Syria target SDF and others, leading to fears of ISIS sleeper cells – by Seth Frantzman

9 April 2019 – Attacks in Syria, in Raqqa and elsewhere, have led to fears of ISIS sleeper cells and attempts to undermine the victory after Baghouz. Zana Amedi writes “Two YPJ fighters, Amara and Güneş, were martyred in a suicide attack by a female Daesh terrorist in Baghouz on April 3. The attack took place while a group of ISIS members were surrendering to the SDF and were being processed in the area.”

Mahmoud Sheikh Ibrahim tweeted as well

Just heard that H Amara has martyred. It was such a sad news for me. I have spent some time with her Tabour on Hajin frontline last November with Jana and Ann.
