Seth J. Frantzman Maybe one day Israelis will be treated like Palestinians and then all the cavalier voices saying things like “play with fire, get burned” about people being shot and killed…will have a slightly different view.

Frantzman If I was kept under military occupation for 50 years, my basic civil rights denied, no passport, no citizenship, with soldiers patrolling and not being able to travel, with checkpoints and dehumanizing treatment and indignity by having some foreign army constantly looking over me, not able to go to cities that my parents had once travelled to…It wouldn’t take me long to make certain choices about the course of action.
I’d suggest taking any group of people, take away their rights for 50 years and keep them in a kind of giant cage…and let’s see how they turn out.
And if during the military occupation another group of people came and started building nice houses near me and driving back and forth to a country I can’t go to and receiving more rights than me…I know the choices I’d make.
