Media Crew Placed Under Detention in Sulaymaniyah University Campus
Basnews English 28/10/2018 – 14:51 ERBIL — Security forces on Sunday detained the media crew for Kurdistan TV at the campus of Sulaymaniyah University. The detention came while Kurdistan TV reporters were covering a gathering by the university students. Aras Sattar, a member of the crew, confirmed the report to BasNews and said they were not allowed by the security forces of the university to leave the campus.
“We were covering the gathering of the students as this is the duty of journalism to provide an equal coverage for all the sides in a conflict,” Sattar said. More via www.mesop.de
