17 June 2018 – The Soviet Union (and to a degree post-Bolshevik #Russia) used the #PKK—often “deniably” through Asad’s #Syria, though not always—to destabilise #Turkey, a frontline state in defending the West during the Cold War. Turkey in effect used Chechen insurgents to repay Moscow. #PRT
