ERBIL – The Democratic Union Party (PYD) has founded a new political party in Syria called Future Party of Syria (FPS), according to sources.The PYD in coordination with the Movement for a Democratic Society (TEV-DEM) on Tuesday held a Congress in the city of Raqqa in northern Iraq to establish a council of 81 members for the new party.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the US army have decided to withdraw from Manbij, a city in the northeast of Aleppo Governorate in northern Syria.However, Havrin Khalaf, a Kurdish woman, and Ibrahim Qaftan, an Arab, have been appointed as the co-chairs of the FPS.
