Turkey is coordinating with the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Masoud Barzani to address the Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKK) movements within the Kurdistan region, security sources revealed.
The sources said that the Turkish government established an operation room in November with the KDP to exchange intelligence information and create military plans required to address the movements of the PKK and its loyal forces within Kurdistan and Kurdish areas of southeastern Turkey.
The sources said that the first stage is to determine the location of PKK headquarters in the Kurdistan region through the use of advanced equipment, and to allow the Turkish intelligence agents to monitor the movements of the party, especially within the areas of influence of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the region.

The second phase, according to the sources, is the implementation of qualitative military operations against the headquarters of the PKK, including assassinating leaders and elements of the party.
Meanwhile, the third phase is to close the headquarters of parties, movements and political organizations known to be loyal to the PKK within Kurdistan and drying up the party’s financial resources, the source added.
