Al-Qaeda’s Huras al-Din & allied jihadists have launched a major offensive (backed by a small #NLF contingent) in #Latakia, reportedly capturing as many as 13 elevated positions from pro-#Assad forces. Multiple pro-regime forces have been captured & x4 tanks destroyed, so far.

Junud al-Sham also participates in the current operation in #Latakia. This video is from a German fighter at the front. He says that the operation has two phases, of which the first is completed.
