Wouldn’t it be great if the US consulted with the people who live in eastern Syria before deciding that they will be amalgamated into a “safe zone”….you’d think maybe, just maybe, people who survived the brutality of the ISIS attacks in 2014 have earned that right?

So Jim Jeffrey says US has a ‘general’ deal with #SDF, Turkey for ‘safe zone’ except all details still have to be worked out like.. what will happen in the safe zone, what about weapons, what about… I remain doubtful (& also think it’s a terrible idea) …
