Obama had called on Turkey to attack ISIS four days before they headed into Mosul stating the Turks had attack helicopters and jets which they regularly used against the PKK. But Turkey refused and the US was denied permission to fly over Turkish airspace to attack ISIS directly… ISIS took Mosul.

KNC leader says nine offices burned, 40 members, independent activists held by PYD
By Rudaw 12 March 2017 – ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – The leader of the Kurdish National Council (KNC/ENKS) revealed that until now at least 40 members of its party and independent activists have been held in prison, and he claimed a total of nine offices belonging to the party have been set ablaze by the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in the Kurdish enclave of northern Syria. “People are being arrested and released on a daily basis. By Rudaw 1 hour ago 13 March 2017 – ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Some 1,000 fighters of the Ezidkhan Protection Force, a military group in the Shingal region, has officially been put under the Kurdistan Region’s Peshmerga Ministry as the move is criticized by many whose names were excluded from the deal.
Haider Shasho, commander of the force reassures all his men that they will be added to the list of his force within the Peshmerga Ministry in the near future.Shasho said: “The number of our force is 4,780. ARA News – 13 March 2017 – Qamishli – Over 40 supporters of the Barzani-backed Kurdish National Council (KNC) were arrested in northern Syria, following clashes between armed groups of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on 3 March in Sinjar.
“They released some of them but still more than 40 persons are in the PYD-run prisons,” said Majdal Delli, a member of the KNC-affiliated Yekiti party in Qamishli. “This is because of the Sinjar clashes.”Zara Salih, another member of the Yekiti party, told ARA News there were around 45 KNC supporters arrested.
