For two years U.S. forces have been working closely with Kurds in the war against the Islamic State. This cooperation began in northern Iraq with the peshmerga, the armed forces of the autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in northern Iraq, and has been extended to include Americans fighting alongside the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in Syria. In both places American forces have found eager allies and a welcoming public.

US to Turkey: Forces in Syria’s Manbij to prevent escalation
Ara News 9 March 2017 – At the first press briefing held under Trump, the US State Department spokesperson said on Wednesday that American troops are based in Manbij area in northern Syria to send a message that all forces should remain focused on the fight against ISIS.“I think, broadly speaking, of course it’s a very complex environment around the area east of al-Bab. It’s a place where multiple forces, frankly, have converged – all with the intent to drive out ISIS,” acting State Department spokesman Mark Toner told reporters in Washington.“But I think when you’ve got multiple forces in such a small, confined space, we want to avoid any unnecessary or unintended escalation in what is already a very tense and dynamic situation,” he added.Therefore, the US-led coalition stationed forces in Manbij to send a message to all forces to keep their focus on ISIS. US Marines to Support Pivotal Syrian Battle
A few hundred marines have been deployed to Syria ahead of a battle to retake from the self-proclaimed Islamic State the city of Raqqa, which is considered to be the militants’ de facto capital. The United States is also considering sending hundreds of troops to Kuwait (AP) to be ready to join in the battle if necessary, according to a defense official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Several hundreds of U.S. special operations troops have been in Syria for months, but the Pentagon has avoided sending conventional military forces to Syria (WaPo). KLOMMENTAR : Mit diesen Worten haben FAZ/SZ es wieder einmal genau getroffen: das langjährig durch ihre Wahlkampffavoriten Obama und davor Clinton entstandene CIA/FBI System geht eindeutig zurück auf Donald T. – Der wurde und wird mutmaßlich zwar von solchen Agencies selber abgehört – muß aber aus höheren Gründen ethischer Korrektheit nun dafür herhalten.
Die FAZ widmet solcher Erkenntnis auf den Rhein-Main-Seiten eine ganzseitige Fläche unter einem monumentalen Bild des US Generalkonsulats in FFM, betitelt „Drehscheibe für Agenten“, das einen riesigen Verwaltungskomplex zeigt, was beweiskräftig ist: Digital ist bekanntlich immer groß!
Auch kenne die FAZ die die CIA Anweisungen an alle neuankommenden Agenten & Spione, und das geht so:

Hieß es 1979 in Teheran noch: “Freedom is neither Eastern nor Western; it is universal!”, heißt es heute: “Hijab is empowerment”. Die basalsten individuellen Freiheiten werden für einen (linken) rassistischen Ethnopluralismus preisgegeben, die Analyse der warenproduzierenden, kapitalistischen Gesellschaft auf ein einfaches Herr-Knecht Verhältnis verkürzt, in der der Herr stets “weiß” und männlich ist.
