No hurdle for direct talks, Abdullah Ocalan says
21 Dec 2014 – Kurdpress – The jailed leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) Abdullah Ocalan has told a HDP delegation that there is no hurdle on direct talks in the peace negotiation between the PKK and Ankara government. Releasing a statement, the HDP stated the part’s delegation has met Ocalan in Imrali Island and the PKK leader has stated there are no longer hurdles for direct talk between the two sides. The statement further added the HDP would release Ocalan recommendations over the peace talks for Qandil Mountains, home to the PKK bases, and people, adding that no one was aware of the HDP delegation visit to Imrali due to concerns.
