MESOP today : Ahmad Jarba meets Massoud Barzani in Erbil
Kurdpress- 3-7-2014 – The Chief of Syria opposition coalition Ahmad Asi al-Jarba met Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani in Erbil in Salahaddin resort.
The two officials have discussed latest regional developments and Syria war in particular, Eylaf news base said.
According to the report the two have also warned about the threat of the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) in the region. Al-Jazeera reported Jarba has appreciated the Kurdish region for sheltering Syria refugees. 11 members of Syrian pro-Kurdish Patriotic Council joined the Syria opposition coalition after a meeting between Barzani and Jarba last year. The pro-Kurdish council if affiliated with Barzani.
