The spokesman for Iran Foreign Ministry Bahram Qassemi said on Monday that there are differences between Iran, Turkey and Russia over the Kurdish issue in northern Syria, adding that the stance by Russia over the issue could be different as it is no neighbor to any Kurdish region and does not have any Kurdish provinces.
Qassemi went on to say that Turkey and Iran have the same approach in some cases over the issue and there are also some differences.Reiterating that the Kurdish issue in Turkey is not something new, he added that the issue is something internal for Turkey and is related to Ankara. About Tehran relation with Ankara after Turkey coup on July 15, he stated that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is planned to make a visit to Iran but no date has been set for the visit yet.Qassemi made the remarks in a press conference. www.mesop.de
